UNOFFICIAL PRACTICE ICE
Online Unofficial Practice Ice is no longer available. Any available ice can be purchased onsite at registration.
Unofficial Ice will be rented in 15 minutes sessions for $125 per sesssion. Ice is available on Tuesday, February 1 through Friday, February 4 on a first come, first served basis. Please contact Elizabeth Peschges (2011practice@gmail.com) if you have any additional questions.
OFFICIAL PRACTICE ICE
Online Official Practice Ice Payment is no longer available. If you have not paid for your official practice ice please bring payment to registration at the rink.
Official practice ice will be available for all participating teams after the registration deadline. Every effort will be made for teams to have practice on the competition surface, however this may not be possible depending upon the number of teams registered. Official practice will be scheduled by the chief referee and will be conducted in accordance with U.S. Figure Skating rule 3590, as described in the competition announcement. Official practice ice will be blocked by level. Teams will receive one block of official practice ice for their free skate, and one block for their short program. There will be no additional official practice ice for teams that qualify for the championship round.
Teams are not required to purchase their official practice ice. However, teams competing under the International Judging System (IJS) are strongly encouraged to do so.
Ten minutes blocks for preliminary, pre-juvenile, open juvenile, open adult, open collegiate, juvenile, intermediate, novice, masters, junior short program and senior short program.
Twelve minute blocks for collegiate, junior free skate and senior free skate.
- Cost per 10 minutes block is $90
- Cost per 12 minute block is $100
- Cost for junior and senior teams is $180

Teams must pay for official practice ice online or by mailing their practice ice check (payable to RFSC) by January 28, 2011 or bring a check to the registration desk prior to taking the ice for official practice.
